Since 2024, ComIDP has evolved from an AI-powered solution for unstructured data parsing and extraction into a comprehensive intelligent document processing platform. Driven by real-world client needs, ComIDP has continuously expanded its capabilities — from supporting small-language parsing to enhancing accuracy and performance — and is now deeply integrated into business workflows, including RPA systems, low-code platforms, and enterprise knowledge bases.
ComIDP V1.0: ComIDP Demo Released 6 Capabilities
ComIDP began with the launch of the ComIDP Demo Center, introducing core document processing capabilities, including document parsing, text extraction, table extraction, stamp extraction, image distortion correction, and image enhancement.
ComIDP V1.0 was built from our data extraction, enabling users to convert unstructured PDFs into structured formats like JSON, XML, CSV, and Excel. Instead of relying on traditional file conversion, it leveraged AI-powered parsing to extract meaningful data and output it in structured form. With built-in intelligent OCR, the system significantly improved the accuracy of parsing scanned PDFs and images. Developers could choose to integrate through the data extraction SDK or access capabilities directly via APIs.
During this phase, we also validated ComIDP's compatibility with RPA and low-code platforms, allowing enterprises to automate parts of their document workflows.
However, ComIDP V1.0 primarily focused on outputting structured files for downstream systems. In practice, importing these outputs into business systems was still a time-consuming process for end-users, so this version fell short of reducing manual work.
ComIDP V2.0: Release of Key Information Extraction and Document Q&A
Building on the success of V1.0, ComIDP V2.0 was designed to address a critical customer need: directly empowering end-users to reduce manual work.
In early 2025, ComIDP launched two new tools, Intelligent Document Extraction and Intelligent Document Question Answering, allowing developers to call ComIDP APIs to process unstructured documents.
Instead of just extracting all content and elements from docs, this new version of Intelligent Document Extraction uses key-value pair technology to extract specific information, such as invoice numbers or contract dates. Both AI automatic extraction and custom key fields extraction are supported. This eliminates the tedious process of manually importing data to CRM or ERP systems, boosting data entry efficiency and truly automating workflows.
The new Intelligent Document Question Answering demo, powered by a multi-model architecture, enables developers to integrate leading AI models like Gemini and ChatGPT. This allows enterprises to configure and fine-tune Large Language Models (LLMs) for their unique business needs, enabling users to ask questions directly about a document and get instant, accurate answers.

ComIDP V2.1.0 & V2.2.0: AI Knowledge Bases for Enterprises
The latest updates, ComIDP V2.1.0 and V2.2.0, now allow you to create and host your own AI knowledge base directly on your company's servers. This self-hosted deployment option gives enterprises the power to build internal knowledge bases tailored to their specific needs.
We've leveraged Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) to improve how the system parses, extracts, and retrieves information. These updates also include new support for the Thai language and significant improvements to document processing speed and accuracy.
Knowledge Bases enable staff to create flexible, multi-level knowledge bases that can be organized by department or role, allowing for refined document management and operations. It supports a wide range of document formats, including .doc, .docx, .xls, .xlsx, .ppt, and .pdf, making it easy to centralize all your company's information.
Knowledge base assistants can be linked to various knowledge bases, which deeply analyze business documents for precise, context-aware answers. The system displays sources and highlights answers in documents, providing a more intelligent and efficient way for employees to access information.
Beyond the Intelligent Knowledge Bases, our Intelligent Document Extraction tool can also be deployed directly on your own server. This on-premise option provides the same powerful experience as our online demo, including visualized batch key information extraction, to ensure a consistent and secure workflow.
